Meeting on Green Growth Agenda, Vietnam
The Danish Embassy in Hanoi invited Thorkil Jorgensen Consulting Engineers for an informal meeting with the Danish Minister for Climate, Energy and Building Martin Lidegaard. In relation to the Danish government's Green Growth Agenda, we discussed opportunities and challenges in Vietnam, especially in terms of what we could contribute with within Green Building Design and energy saving measures in general. The meeting took place in Ho Chi Minh City, where we also have our office (Nov, 2012)

Denmark invests in Vietnam to boost the development of Green Energy
The Danish government has earmarked 500 million. DKK in 2012 and 2013 to support the development of Green Energy in Vietnam, South Africa, Mexico and several other countries. Denmark has chosen to collaborate with these countries due to their rapidly growing economy. Minister for Climate, Energy and Building Martin Lidegaard want to support the climate while simultaneously creating the groundwork for future export of Danish know-how and technology. New Green Building Designer
We are pleased to announce that we cooperate with Truc as Green Building Designer. She will work at our office in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam. Truc has been working for energy design concept in buildings sector for more than 5 years in Europe and Asia based on different Green Building Rating Systems such as LEED and the Chinese Three Stars. She has a Master of Sustainable Energy System and Management from the University of Flensburg (Nov, 2012).

We've been invited to participate in a competition to be Special Consultants for the implementation of the Leed Gold Certificate for a conference and office building in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The project is of 18,000 m2 and will be placed in New Residential Area, Thu Thiem, 2nd District. Our work will include everything from concept to construction. The customer is from Japan and want Green Building Design.

We have been invited by the Confederation of Danish Industry and the Danish Embassy in Hanoi to participate in the export drive together with His Royal Highness Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark. In Hanoi (Ha Noi) and Ho Chi Minh (Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh) we present our services Green Building Design.
